What would change your opinion from now until then? I do believe he is "one of the best" coaches in the NFL... the best...hmmm let me think about that one for a while.

If the Steelers go 6-10 next season, I can guarantee that I, like a lot of ungrateful Steeler fans, will be m-fing Cowher all the way till the 2007 season. It doesn't matter if he made the greatest Super Bowl run in the history of the NFL, it's a "what have you done for me lately" business. And if the Seelers are doing bad, so goes Cowher's reputation. We want Super Bowl rings every year, and when we don't get the rings...we want the coache's balls. Football fans have mob mentality. The irrational becomes rational, the stupid suddenly seem to have the answers and the charisma to draw many, usually intelligent, people down a dark path, the wise become lethargic in thought and glare at crowd's dimwitted actions much like the deer staring at the headlights of a Mack truck. Mark my words, it won't take much loosing to turn the fan base... you'll see. "There's a fine line in the business."

WOW that was an interesting disertation about .... football! haha.. whomever wrote this: did you maybe have a sip or two of whiskey? o well, it was an interesting read, and i do agree with the generalization of what have you done for me lately! anyway, the steelers will be good for the forseeable future. palamalu might be one of the best defensive players EVER. Big Ben will only get better, Deuce should be 100% healthy and Cowher and Company will work their usual genius on draft day.
